Reliabilty of the scale was determined via Cronbach alha calculation.

Results: The adequacy index of the sample was 0.801. Factor analysis yielded 3 factors which explained 63.87% of the variance. Cronbach alpha reliability index was determined as 0.83. No significant interactions between the demographic variables and satisfaction scores were observed.

Conclusion: The Turkish version of the Charleston Psychiatric Outpatient Satisfaction Scale assed in this study is a valid and reliable tool to evaluate outpatient satisfaction in our country.
