Objective: In this study we aim to investigate the postoperative surgical outcomes, complications and patient satisfaction with the single incision of midurethral sling procedure in patients with stress urinary incontinence.

Material and Method: Data of 25 patients who received single incision of midurethral sling surgery between 2012 and 2016 were evaluated retrospectively. Patients were evaluated for demographic data, procedure results, satisfaction rates as well as intraoperative and early postoperative (urinary retention, vaginal erosion, dyspareunia, infection, abnormal discharge) complications.

Results: The mean operation time was recorded as 12.1 minutes. While 96% of patients with stress urinary incontinence improved completely or cured, 92% of our patients reported that they were satisfied with this procedure. Postoperatively, 4 patients had groin pain and one patient had difficulty in voiding.

Conclusion: As short-term results, we think that single incision midurethral sling method is a preferable method in the surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence with high success rates and low complication rates.
