Parkinsonism is one of the neurological side effects of antipsychotic drug use. Since aripiprazole has a partial dopaminergic effect, it is expected to have less neurological side effects than other antipsychotic drugs. Longacting injectable antipsychotic drugs are often preferred by psychiatric doctors recently because of increased compliance. Aripiprazole is available in a recently preferred longacting form that provides ease of use to patients. We report a case of parkinsonism caused by longacting depot aripiprazole.
