Brucellosis is an infectious disease that affects many organs and systems, such as the musculoskeletal system, central nervous system, cardiovascular system. It is widespread all over the world and can cause severe morbidity. Although osteoarticular involvement is very common in brucellosis, it may be difficult to diagnose due to nonspecific involvement. In this article, we present a case of brucella osteoarthritis of the hip in a 14-year-old male patient who presented only with pain in the hip and waist and limitation of motion without existence of systemic infection symptoms. Since osteoarticular involvement is common in brucellosis, every patient presenting with joint-related complaints should be examined for brucellosis.
