The Views of Family Physiciansa Family Healthcare Personnel, Who Work in The City Center of Malatya, on The Family Medicine Practices, Job Satisfactions and Effecting Factors

Objective: In the framework of the health transformation program, this study have been made evaluated satisfaction about practices and level of job satisfaction of family physicians and family healthcare personnel who work in the family medicine system.

Material and Method: The population of cross-sectional study is constituted 138 family physicians and 138 family healthcare personnels including 276 people who work in the city center of Malatya. The questionnaire containing demographic information questions and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire was administered to family physicians and family healthcare personnel. Mann-whitney U test, Student t tetst and One-Way Anova test were used in data analysis.

Results: Of those surveyed 47.3% of family physicians, 52.7% are family healthcare personnel. 46.5% of personnel were satisfied partly from family practice and 17.5% stated that they consider quitting. Participants\' overall job satisfaction mean score were found 3.33±0.65 in the family physician, 3.13±0.59 in family healthcare personnel. The overall job satisfaction mean scores, whose profession of those who approve of personality, were seen higher family physicians (3.49±0.51) and family healthcare personnel (3.24±0.66) than who expressed personality structure is not suitable, appropriate or those the personality structure partially available or satellite (p<0,05).

Conclusion: In this study, job satisfaction of physicians and family healthcare personnel was found middle level. With the passing of the health transformation program, changes in health services affect healthcare personnel too. Quality of service will increase by knowing expectations of healthcare personnel and solving problem in this process.
