Lipoma of the Tongue: A Common Tumor at a Rare Localisation |

Lipomas are the most common mesenchymal tumors of soft tissue. They can occur in all parts of the body, however, they can rarely arise in the tongue and are cured by total local excision. We report a lipoma of the tongue in a 60-year-old man with a fourmonth history of painless swelling on the right ventral side of his tongue.
