Fırat Medical Journal (ISSN: 1300-9818, E-ISSN: 2147-124X) is a peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by the Fırat University Faculty of Medicine. Clinical and experimental original researches, case reports, invited reviews and Letters to the Editor are welcomed. Fırat Medical Journal adheres to the highest ethical and editorial standards. The Editorial Board of the Fırat Medical Journal endorses the Editorial Policy Statements approved by the Council of Science Editors' Board of Directors. The journal is in compliance with the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals published by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (N Engl J Med, 1997; 336: 309-315).
