Portal vein aneurysm (PVA) is a rare vascular anomaly. It can be seen duo to congenital or iatrogenic event. Wide application of ultrasonography (US) and Doppler US provided increase in diagnosis of asymptomatic PVA. In this article, we aimed to present ultrasonografic findings of left portal vein aneurysm with review of literature which was diagnosed incidentally a patient with abdominal pain. ©2008, Firat University, Medical Faculty.
