Objective: Thesis writing is an important and necessary part of graduate education. Sharing the study with the scientific world is the next step. In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the publication rates of master\'s and doctoral thesis studies in the field of public health between 2010 and 2020 registered in the National Thesis Center database.

Material and Method: In this context, 170 doctoral and 552 master\'s theses were accessed, and after the information of the theses was recorded, they were searched in Google, Google Scholar, Dergipark, TRDizin and PubMed databases and their publication status was determined.

Results: It was found that 233 of the theses (32.3%) were published in any journal. While this rate was 52.4% in doctoral theses, it was 26.1% in master\'s theses (p <0.001). Of the theses, 54 (7.5%) were published in SCI / SCI Expanded, 43 (6.0%) in international and 136 (18.8%) in national journals. Nutrition and obesity, occupational health and health services, management and economics were preferred as the subjects of the theses. Descriptive-cross-sectional studies were used at the highest rate. It was determined that 52.9% of the methodological research type theses were turned into articles.

Conclusion: The publication rate of doctoral theses in public health is higher than that of master\'s theses. The stages of conversion of postgraduate theses into articles should be encouraged.
